Students and staff at Springfield High School (SHS) had their summer school routines briefly interrupted by a special guest, track legend and Olympian, Maria de Lurdes Mutola.
Springfield Public Schools (SPS) officially welcomed three newly elected members, Heather Quaas-Annsa, Jonathan Light, and Amber Langworthy, during a special meeting. The trio was formally sworn in by Superintendent Todd Hamilton, marking the start of their four-year terms.
Springfield Public Schools (SPS) is continuing its efforts to provide high-quality, equitable instruction in literacy by bringing together a dedicated group of educators to review and refine curriculum practices. During the first week of summer, a K-8 Language Arts work team convened for the third consecutive year to evaluate student progress, engage in professional learning, and prepare instructional improvements for the upcoming school year.
